RSPCA Reptile Rescue evolved in 2007 after it became apparent for the need for a safe haven for unwanted and stray reptiles in the South of England.
Since then, hundreds of Reptiles have been rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed through out the country.

There is an increasing number of Reptiles being kept as pets,
often without the correct information being given about their care resulting in many reptiles suffering through lack of knowledge or neglect.

We offer an advice service by phone, helping with the welfare and care of all reptiles.

Based in Brighton, East Sussex, we operate a unit dedicated to Reptiles and with funding permitting we plan to expand our already unique facility for Reptiles in order to accommodate more.


  • We have reptiles looking for good loving homes.


  • We also take in reptiles that the owners can no longer care for.


  • Any reptiles accepted including those which require a DWA license.


  • Donations of unwanted reptile equipment and vivariums are gratefully accepted.
